Surface-Core-Shell Structure of Palladium Carbide Phase by In Situ XANES, EXAFS and XRPD BM31@ESRF

Objective: To study the change in structural parameters during the formation of palladium carbides in the interaction of supported palladium nanoparticles with ethylene and acetylene at 50 and 100 °C.

Results: we obtained and compared the dependences of the kinetics of the formation of carbyls in the core, shell, and on the surface of palladium nanoparticles.
