Official opening ceremony of the International Research Center in the Southern Federal University

The official opening of the IRC "Smart materials" was held on the Day of Russian Science, February 8. University rector Marina Borovskaya, vice-rectors Inna Shevchenko and Anatoly Meteletsa, and scientific advisor of the university Vladimir Minkin.
Director of the Research Center Alexander Soldatov showed the laboratories with new scientific equipment for chemical synthesis and characterization, and new office building for young scientist. International Research Center "Smart Materials" is a particular example of international collaboration of young researchers with the leading scientists from all over the world. More than 70 % of the personnel consists of the young researchers. The average number of publication is 5 papers per person per year.
