Mega-grant is Prolonged for 2 Years

Having been recognized to achieve and maintain high-level of international scientific research, the IRC “Smart Materials”, SFedU, has been awarded two more years of support and funding for the ongoing project “Creating a full-cycle research laboratory”, a decision made by the Grants Council of the RF Government. The project “Creating a full-cycle research laboratory” has been implemented as the Mega Grant by Resolution No.220 of the Government of the Russian Federation.


Prof. Alexander Soldatov, the director of the IRC "Smart Materials", SFedU, points out that during monitoring visits the Centre was recognized to have really unique achievements, compared to some other Mega Grant laboratories, in terms of developing research infrastructure as well as creating efficient and impactful teams of young scientists. According to Prof. Karlo Lamberty, the University Administration has significantly contributed to creating a good work and beneficial atmosphere in the IRC "Smart Materials".
